Maybe things aren’t so boring after all

Daaaaa, what a boring week.

We had a challenge this week from the assistants to contact 40 brand new people. So Elder Rios and I decided to do it in one day! On Thursday we contacted 41. Not all of them were SUPER positive, but we found some very interested people, and have taught some great lessons since then. We have great hopes for this zone. 2 new chapels opened up, and total we received over 200 references just from the chapel openings alone. Things have been very exciting lately! We have a lot of work to do! So maybe things aren’t so boring after all.

So Elder Rios is a very hard worker, but maybe works a little too hard. On Saturday he was having hip problems from walking up and down so much. We have the opportunity to go to Xela this week, so we might stop by and see how everything is going with him. So keep him in your prayers.

I have surpassed mile number 500 in my mission! Boy they are flying by. My pedometer is looking pretty ghetto as well. President Bautista thinks that it is hillarious, but encourages it. I plan on walking a lot more this week. We have a lot of work to do.

So this computer is busted and I can’t upload pictures >=( so until next week, we will have new ones. I just want to let everyone know that I love you, and that you are missed. I’ve been getting letters as well, so THANK you for that as well. I hope that you are getting mine. Take it easy, enjoy the weather, and HAVE FUN!
